“Weird strong smell” – JS Saoura President says Hearts of Oak used juju to defeat them

The President of JS Saoura Mohamed Zerouati has claimed Hearts of Oak used juju to beat them on Sunday.

The Ghana champions defeated the Algerians 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of the 2021/22 Caf Confederation Cup group playoffs.

The President upon returning to the country alleged that there was ‘a weird strong smell’ in the stadium when they arrived for their first training session.

He went further to add it was because of the smell that they lost the game.

“When we arrived and during our first training session at the stadium that will host the game, we reported a weird strong smell, very unpleasant odour.

“We were promised to fix the problem but on matchday, we ran into the same problem, it’s weird,” he told the Press upon his arrival in Algeria.

“We do not know what it is but maybe is something they did to defeat us in the game.”

The second leg of the tie is expected to be played in Algeria on Sunday, December 5, with the winner over the two ties progressing to the group stage.
