Sylvester Simba scored a terrific goal under 4 minutes to give Dreams FC the lead against Hearts of Oak in the semifinals of the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup.

The attacker struck low from the edge of the Phobians box to take a surprise lead at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Benjamin Yorke tapped in the equaliser for Samuel Boadu’s side in the 11th minute after Dreams goalkeeper Augustine Koomson failed to punch clear Daniel Afriyie’s shot.

Daniel Afriyie then put Hearts of Oak ahead with an amazing near post finish in the 45th minute, just seconds into the second half.

The defending champions got a third goal through Suraj Seidu. The youngster was lucky a clearance came off his leg before flying over substitute goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi in the 64th minute.

Substitute Kwaku Karikari got Dreams FC a second consolation goal in the 78th minute to end the game 3-2. He punished Richmond Ayi for messing up with a long-range shot.

Hearts of Oak will wait to face the winner between Bechem United and Aduana Stars in the final when they play on Sunday.
