Benjamin Yorke scored the equaliser for Hearts of Oak in the 11th minute against Dreams FC in the semifinals of the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup.
This was after goalkeeper Augustine Koomson failed to punch clear Daniel Afriyie’s shot from distance at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Sylvester Simba scored a terrific opener for Dreams FC under 4 minutes. The attacker struck low from the edge of the Phobians box to take a surprise lead at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Daniel Afriyie then put Hearts of Oak ahead with an amazing near post finish in the 45th minute, just seconds into the second half.
The defending champions got a third goal through Suraj Seidu. The youngster was lucky a clearance came off his leg before flying over substitute goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi in the 64th minute.
Substitute Kwaku Karikari got Dreams FC a second consolation goal in the 78th minute to end the game 3-2. He punished Richmond Ayi for messing up with a long-range shot.
Hearts of Oak will wait to face the winner between Bechem United and Aduana Stars in the final when they play on Sunday.
