Hearts of Oak center-back Nuru Sulley has written a second letter to the club for contract termination, according to reports.
He only joined the club at the start of last season when his deal with Iraqi Premier League side Naft Al-Basra SC was exaustered.
The 29-year-old is said to be unhappy with his lack of playing time in the second-half of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, the club won domestic double at the end of the season.
The defender has written to the club first and did not hear any response, and has now written a second letter to management of the club, Oyerepa FM and Wontumi FM have reported Monday.
He’s said to have boycotted training this morning in pursuit of the contract termination.
The 21-time Ghana champions are said to want to keep the 2013 Wafu Nations Cup winner but the player is not on the same page with the club.
Nuru Sulley last played a league game for the Phobians in their 2-0 defeat to Dreams in round 22 of the Ghana Premier League. He was red-carded in the game.
The former Alanyaspor defender has featured in 16 league games for the Phobians.
Regular playing time will be difficult to come by as center-backs Mohammed Alhassan and Robert Addo Sowah are the starters while versatile Caleb Amankwah is also preferred to Sulley.
