Otto Addo makes 7 changes to Ghana’s starting 11 to face Central African Republic

Ghana coach Otto Addo has made seven changes to Ghana’s starting eleven to face the Central African Republic in the Black Stars second 2023 African Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying game.

Seven of the players who played in the 3-0 victory against Madagascar are not in the starting team today.

Lawrence Ati-Zigi has replaced Jojo Wollacott in goal while Andy Yiadom replaces Denis Odoi at right-back. Jonathan Mnesah comes in to pair Daniel Amartey at center-back.

Edmund Addo and Daniel Kofi-Kyereh will play in midfield as both Bada Iddrisu and Andre Ayew drop to the bench.

Joseph Paintsil and Osman Bukari are the others to come in to the starting eleven that did not play against Madagascar on Wednesday.

The game will kick off at 13:00 GMT in Luanda, Angola.
