Eddie Nketiah resolute on representing Ghana at 2022 World Cup – Reports

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is reportedly very firm on his decision to switch international allegiance from England to play for Ghana at the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

According to various reports from the UK and Ghana, the 22-year-old’s nationality switch is imminent as he has now secured a Ghana passport.

The England U-21 all-time top scorer took the decision to represent Ghana at senior level after the move was backed by his parents.

Nketiah is in the form of his life at the moment, rising up to the occasion when Arsenal needed a hero in their bid to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since the 2015/16 season.

He scored braces against Chelsea and Leeds to put Mikel Arteta’s side in control of their own destiny in pursuit of Champions League football. He has four goals and one assist in 18 Premier League games.
