Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac will start preparing for the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifying games against Zimbabwe with 27 players tomorrow in Accra.
The technical handlers of the national team have excused 5 players for the qualifiers because of various reasons.
The 5 players are Asante Kotoko defender Ismail Ganiyu, Brentford’s Tarique Fosu, Alfred Duncan (Fiorentina), Mubarak Wakaso (Shenzhen), and Emmanuel Gyasi (Spezia).
Meanwhile, right-back Andy Yiadom is being assessed with an injury he picked up on Saturday against Cardiff City.
The team will train tomorrow in the morning in Accra and travel to Cape Coast in the afternoon, where the third round game will be played on Saturday.
The Black Stars will then travel to Harare three days later for the return fixture.
Ghana lies second in Group G of the African qualifiers and has no margin for error after suffering a 1-0 defeat to South Africa in the second round game.
